Free Body Project

Free Body ProjectWhat is the Free Body Project?

The Free Body Project was created by dancer and activist, Sydney Skov, in order to bring awareness to the tragic human sex trafficking that happens not only internationally, but right here in our own backyard. Yes, Oregon sees a devastatingly high percentage of people arrested each year connected to children exploitation, both young girls and sometimes boys, and human trafficking.

To learn more about the Free Body Project or to see what you can do to help, visit their website:

This is an amazing project that I am really looking forward to being a part of. I learned about the Free Body Project through a dance friend of mine, Kasia Wilhelmi, and along with another mover, Maddi Evans, the three of us are putting in a little effort to help these ladies spread the word. We will be performing live at Portland’s Waterfront on June 7th and 14th in the afternoon. Please stop by and check it out. For a complete list of events from the Free Body Project, click HERE.

Lastly, I want to share a short video we made in hopes of inspiring others to make positive steps here in Portland and around the world. Enjoy.
